Ok since the first server is up we now should find a webhosting.
Post you're experiences with hosts here. We should move there before we have much more members because we don't have access to the database here what means all informations from this forum will be lost.

Soulreaper already mentioned one but I can't remember what it was

I've been with these for a couple of years now. Never had any problems.
My emails were answered promptly and in detail with extended assistance.

They offer a good range of services for very little. Myself being somewhat unsure considering such a good price I ask a whole series of pre-sales questions of which I received satisfactory answers.

£20 for the year(scroll to bottom) on the smallest package, go in for the second year you save £5 making 2 years £35 and it all gets doubled if you get the second year, so you'd have 1gb space and 16gb monthly bandwidth which would be more than enough.

That said, I just don't know why you don't use mine, it's just sitting there unused, so all the time it's under bandwidth, you'd not be paying anything, if it went over, then the extra to make balance is all I'd ask, not that you'd even come to that with 20gb monthly bandwidth.

I've even made it clear to santa, if at any point I chose to leave, I'd still help get the site up on the next host.

He did say he'd save the chat, so you could go over it and you two can discuss web hosting when it closer to game release.

Found the convo and read it again. I really apprechiate your offer.

For me the main reasons not to use your hosting aren't the ones santa mentioned. I just think we should keep all clan stuff together. I mean stuff like webhosing, servers, ... all paid by the clan/community and strictly divided from personal stuff.

But we'll discuss it again. We still have time for this and shouldn't decide it in a hurry.
